Maggie is a hair stylist who volunteered to shave her head in order to raise money for cancer research. So proud of her for stepping up to help the kids and for being all kinds of wonderful. Hope this inspires you guys to donate a little of your time to a good cause, whatever it may be.

I happened upon these guys when they opened for Neon Trees in Chicago. Jacob’s falsetto is beautifully bone chilling in person. Though I went to see NT, I left wishing Hedley would have continued to steal the show. The guys are amazing and so personable. We traded witty banter afterwards, they signed autographs, we talked about their wives (ugh, whyyyyy, Dave, whyyyyy???), I got Dave’s sweat rag (don’t ask how), and we high fived before they went to unwind with their friends and families. They have, without a doubt, skyrocketed to number one on my list of favorite bands. The ineffably adorable Dave and a shirtless Jacob dancing around like a maniac are just bonuses, but more on that (including pictures) later.
